What we are checking
The September 2026 redesign was checked locally on 5 September across 48 public pages at 320, 390, 768 and 1440px. Checks covered horizontal overflow, page structure, image loading and form labels. Keyboard navigation, consent controls, form validation, reduced motion and text contrast were sampled on the main templates. These checks are not a claim of complete WCAG conformance.
Use and navigation
A skip link moves to the main content. Mobile navigation has an explicit open/close control and closes with Escape. Forms have visible labels and error feedback. Analytics permission is optional and can be changed in the footer.
Content alternatives and limits
Review screenshots are supported by text descriptions of the relevant findings. Historical screenshots may contain accessibility problems discussed in the review. Illustrative diagrams are explained in the surrounding text. Formal assistive-technology testing and research with disabled participants are not represented as completed by these checks.
Report a barrier
Email hello@usability.ie with the page, the task and what got in the way. Include device or assistive-technology details if useful, but do not send sensitive personal information. You can also use email if the enquiry form is difficult to use.
